Hindi Release Faces Multiplex Dispute

Alongside its box office performance, Jailer 2 has reportedly faced a dispute concerning the release of its Hindi version.

Multiplex chains have declined to screen the Hindi release after Sun Pictures reportedly opted for a streaming window of less than four weeks following the theatrical run.

Exhibitors have maintained an eight-week gap between a film's theatrical release and its arrival on streaming platforms. The disagreement has resulted in a standoff affecting the Hindi theatrical rollout.

The dispute could influence the film's reach among Hindi-speaking audiences, although the extent of any impact on overall collections remains uncertain.
