September witnessed a flurry of launches and unveils in the Indian automotive sector, setting the stage for a month of even more exciting releases in October.

With the festive season fostering a positive buying sentiment among consumers, here's a glimpse of the highly anticipated cars slated for launch this month.

1. Citroen C3 Aircross -

Unveiled and Ready to Roll Citroen's C3 Aircross, unveiled in April, is gearing up for its official launch. While prices for the base variant were announced last month, the entire lineup's pricing is set to be revealed on October 15.

Equipped with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine generating 109 bhp and 190 Nm of peak torque, the SUV will initially feature a 6-speed manual transmission. Citroen is also working on an automatic variant and an electric version of the C3 Aircross.

2. Nissan Magnite AMT and Kuro Edition -

Adding Sporty Flair Nissan is set to introduce the Kuro Edition of the Magnite, featuring striking cosmetic enhancements and an all-black theme with contrasting red accents. Alongside this, the launch of Magnite AMT variants is confirmed for October 12, offering consumers more options and convenience.

3. Tata Harrier and Safari Facelift -

A Revamp for the Siblings Tata Motors teases the facelifted versions of its mid-size SUVs, the Harrier and Safari. These models, receiving their first major updates since launch, will not only undergo cosmetic enhancements inside and out but may also introduce new features and a potential 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine.

4. Lexus LM -

Luxury MPV with Distinct Configurations Derived from the new-gen Toyota Vellfire, the Lexus LM luxury MPV is set to launch in India. Available in 4-seater and 7-seater configurations, the former boasts two airline-style Ottoman seats for rear passengers.

Powering the LM is a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder self-charging hybrid powertrain, delivering 250 horsepower and 239 Nm of torque.

5. Tata Punch EV -

Expanding Tata's Electric Lineup Tata Motors, known for its electric vehicle innovations, has been testing the all-electric version of the Punch. There's speculation that the Punch EV might be unveiled or launched by the end of October.

Built on Ziptrom powertrain technology, it aims to fill the gap between the Tiago EV and Nexon EV in Tata's electric vehicle lineup.
