After six days of decline in the Indian market, the mood of the market changed on Thursday. Sensex is trading at the level of 57,112.43 points with a jump of 514 points. At the same time, the Nifty is trading at a level of 17,009.90 points with a strength of 151.30 points. Metal sector stocks are showing strength in early trade in the market. Shares of Nykaa are seeing a rise of five percent, while that of Axis Bank has gained three percent. 28 out of 30 Sensex stocks are in the green. Tata Steel is the top gainer stock in Thursday's trading session. FIIs sold Rs 2772 crore in cash on Wednesday while DIIs made purchases of Rs 2544 crore.

Markets in Seoul, Shanghai, Tokyo, and Hong Kong ended lower on other Asian exchanges. The quotes on European equity markets were likewise bearish. On Friday, US markets had a lower closing price. Brent crude, the international standard for crude oil, fell 1.37 percent to $90.10 a barrel during this time.
