Indian Merchandise Exports Rise By 43%

India’s merchandise exports have seen a rise in the month of October by 43.05%. The exports in 2020 were $24.92 billion which rose to $35.65 billion in 2021. The ministry has said that the exports of Non-petroleum, non-gem, and jewellary have registered a growth of 36.82 percent in October 2021.
Non-oil and non-gold imports have recorded a growth of 40.14 percent in October 2021 as compared to October 2020. Along with this, the trade deficit has also widened by 115.50 percent in September 2021 as compared to 2021.
