India Must Learn from its Past Mistakes in the field of Electric Mobility: Amitabh Kant

At the Round Table Conference organized by the Ministry of Heavy Industries, the CEO of Niti Aayog, Amitabh Kant has said that India needs to learn from past mistakes for the manufacturing of electronics. He talked about how the country has been late in involved with the upcoming industries that could have been successful.

The CEO also talked about making India the biggest exporter of Battery storage, and green hydrogen. He also asked to aim the whole world as a market instead of just focusing on the Indian market.

The ongoing Round Table Conference is being held to organize the stakeholders from central government, state governments, and union territories and to strategize the adoption of electric vehicles. The conference is also focusing on attracting investments for the manufacturing of electric vehicles, batteries, and high technologies automotive components in the country.
