India-China Soldiers To Conduct Military Exercises Together In Russia

China and India will be seen doing military exercises together in Russia. Soldiers of India and China will be seen participating together in a world exercise to be held in Russia amid a military standoff that has been going on for more than two years on the Line of Actual Control in eastern Ladakh. China on Wednesday announced to participate in the Vostok-2022 exercise Vostok-2022. The Indian Army is also going to participate in this exercise to be held later this month.

Giving information, the Chinese Defense Ministry has said that, under the annual cooperation plan between the Chinese and Russian armies, the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) will send some troops to Russia to participate in the exercise. Along with India, Belarus, Tajikistan, Mongolia, and other countries are also going to participate in the exercise. There was no immediate comment from the Indian Army or the Defense Ministry on the participation of Indian troops in the Vostok-2022 exercise. Giving information, the Chinese Defense Department said that the purpose of the PLA troops is to deepen practical and friendly cooperation with the armies of the participating countries and to enhance strategic coordination with the troops of other countries. At the same time, China has clarified that this maneuver has nothing to do with the current global tension. It aims to increase experimental and friendly cooperation with the armies of the participating countries.
