Hasura becomes a Unicorn

Software as a service company- Hasura has announced that it has become a Unicorn, which means the company has reached a valuation of $1 billion. It has recently raised $100 million in funding round that projected it to the status of a Unicorn. Hasura has become the tenth startup this year to achieve the status of Unicorn. The recent investment was made by Greenoaks in the funding round along with the participation of existing investors such as Nexus Ventures, Lightspeed Ventures, and Vertex Ventures. Hasura was founded by Tanmai Gopal and Rajoshi Ghosh in 2017. It provides solutions to web developers to make the process of developing web applications faster. The company is currently offering its services to the “top 100 companies” along with startups. The raised capital will be infused in its Research and Development department and to expand its services.
