Google Messages Introduces Emoji Reactions: Elevating Chat Experience

Emoji replies in Google Messages

Emoji reaction capabilities that allow users to drop replies to the text are now available in Google Messages, according to a 9To5Google report.

To include a response in the text, simply long-tap the specific SMS to bring up a selection of emojis. From there, select the appropriate emoji.

The reaction is made up of ten different emojis, such as the Party Popper, sobbing face, smiling emoji, thumbs up, and red heart, among others.

The emoji reaction function has a twist in that many animations will show up on your screen when you pick an emoji. Google stated in a blog post that "magic unfolds instantly as an animated trio of hands dances around the message bubble."
