News Synopsis

The world is ready to adopt various measures to help the planet, in this regard, ahead of the COP26 Glasgow Climate Change Summit, a report by the United Nations Office for Project Services has highlighted the need for the transport sector at taking action in response to climate change and the damages caused by transport emissions leading to global warming and the investment needed to reverse the way our planet is struggling with greenhouse gases.

The report has concluded that transport contributes to 16% of greenhouse gas emissions, and if the world is to adopt greener solutions to cut down the emissions, the cost would be 49. 9 trillion dollars, new technology such as electric and hydrogen fuel vehicles, and other green mobility vehicles, require such large amount of investment to have it as a reality.

A new infrastructure, including a new world structure as to how we view our planet to become sustainable active, will require global contribution and worldwide drives, given the urgency of the climate crisis. Trillions of dollars will need to be invested in order to prepare sectors such as energy, transport, water, digital communications, and whatnot.

We believe that with global efforts, the planet can be made a better place for the present and future generations all together.
