Gautam Adani becomes the Fourth Richest Person in the World

The Chairman of the Adani Group, Gautam Adani has now become the fourth richest person in the world. Currently, the Gautam Adani is in a tie with Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates. The continued bull run in the stocks of Adani group-owned companies has propelled Gautam Adani to leave behind other business tycoons like Mukesh Ambani, Warren Buffett, Google cofounders Larry Page, and Sergey Brin, among others. According to Bloomberg Billionaires Index, the Net Worth of Gautam Adani’s stood at $125 billion, the same as that of Bill Gates. Out of this around $6 billion has been added yesterday.

However, as per the Forbes Real-Time Billionaires list, Gautam Adani is still the fifth richest person in the world with a wealth of $129 billion, while Bill Gates’ wealth is a bit higher at $129.4 billion. Since the beginning of this year, the Net worth of Gautam Adani has increased by nearly two-thirds. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Gautam Adani added $48.3 billion to his wealth in 2022. According to some reports, If Adani continues at the current pace, he could become the world’s third-richest person by the end of this week.
