Garena Free Fire Becomes the Most Downloaded Game Worldwide

Garena Free Fire, a multiplayer online game has become the most downloaded mobile game worldwide for December 2021. The game has 24 million installs, representing a 28.2% increase from December 2020.

India with around 26% and Brazil with 12% of total downloads became the top countries where the game was downloaded the most. Followed by Free Fire Garena, Rocket League Sideswipe from Psyonix became the second most downloaded mobile game worldwide with 21.6 million installs. 

Subway Surfers from Sybo Games, Poppy Rope from ZegoGlobal Publishing, and Roblox from Roblox Corporation also made it to the top five most downloaded games. The global mobile game market recorded 4.9 billion downloads on App Stores and Google Play Store.

India was the number one market for global games downloads with 717.4 million installs, 14.8% of the total worldwide downloads. The USA ranked at number two for two downloads at around 9% and Brazil at third place with 8.2%.
