Future Group’s Kishore Biyani and others invested in Invact Metaversity

News Synopsis

Recent Edtech startup Invact Metaversity got its first investment from future group’s Kishore Biyani, Mohandas Pai, and 68 others. The amount received in the form of investment is not yet announced. The investment was made at a valuation of $33 million for less than a 15% stake in the company. Invact Metaversity is founded by Manish Maheshwari who is former Twitter India head. This was ed-tech startup’s first round of funding and over leaders from 70 global and renowned companies participated in this including Microsoft, Google, uber, amazon, LinkedIn to name a few. Invact Metaversity is based on the concept of integrating online education services with recent technology-metaverse. The vision of this startup is to provide an immersive learning experience to students. The students can interact virtually with their fellow peers and teachers via their avatars.
