Freshworks’ Q4 results: Revenue climbs by 44%

Software as a Service (SaaS) provider Freshworks Inc, released its quarter 4 results on Friday. Its revenue surged by 44% amounting to $105.5 million in the fourth quarter. A growth of 49% was registered compared to the previous year 2020. Girish Mathrubootham, founder and chief executive, of the company, said: “We had a strong finish to the year as we surpassed $100 million in quarterly revenue and achieved 44% year-over-year growth in the fourth quarter”. The total revenue earned by the company in 2021 is $371 million. The company said GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles - United States) loss from operations in the fourth quarter was $56.4 million, compared to $3.4 million in the year-ago quarter.$4.8 million of net cash was provided by operating activities, compared to $13.5 million in the fourth quarter of 2020, the Chennai-based company said in a statement.
