News Synopsis

Ford has split its electric vehicle and internal combustion engine businesses into separate businesses. The company said that its plans include two different but strategically interdependent automakers, the Ford Blue, which focuses on traditional internal combustion engines, and the Ford Model e, which will be developing electric vehicles.

Ford has already developed electric vehicles such as the Ford GT, Mustang Mach E SUV and F150 Lightning Pickup, and operates an EV division in China

Ford also has a Ford Pro. Ford Pro acts as a one-stop shop for commercial and government customers with a complete suite of software, charging, financing, services, and support for Ford and non-Ford products, as well as a variety of traditional and electric vehicles.
