The launch of a Virtual Shopping Experience in the Metaverse by Flipkart and eDAO allows a select number of brands to plan distinctive product launches and develop compelling user experiences in the photorealistic virtual world.

The world's largest domestic e-commerce company, Flipkart, has announced a collaboration with eDAO to introduce the Flipverse, a metaverse environment where users can browse merchandise in a photorealistic virtual location and make purchases through the Flipkart App. With access to their favorite brands, Supercoins, and digital collectibles, consumers will be able to enjoy gamified, interactive, and immersive shopping experiences in the digital world thanks to Flipverse, which was built utilising eDAO's ground-breaking Web3 tech stack.

The launch's goal is to "flip" the shopping narrative, enabling customers to interact more directly with their popular brands in a metaverse where communication is two-way. Flipkart's recently released platform, FireDrops, which can be accessible from the e-commerce platform's app, will have Flipverse available on it.
