FIFA Ban on India Will be Catastrophic

India striker Sunil Chhetri said FIFA ban on India would be disastrous after the Supreme Court ruled that Praful Patel would be expelled as President of AIFF. He also dropped a note about his retirement, saying he was playing his "final game".
The Indian captain Sunil Chhetri said, “No matter what is happening on that front, I hope it is under control and the country does not get a ban.” He went on saying, “Because that will be catastrophic, not just for the whole country but for me because I’m 37. I’m playing my last game. You never know when there will be the last game for you.”
He also said that he was scared when the headlines came in and further said that with my limited knowledge when you go into it, you understand that it is not that dangerous and things will subside.
The SC ruling has led to speculation that FIFA could ban India. The ban could deprive the country of the right to host the Under-17 Women's World Cup in October.
