FDA Approves Pfizer For Children Aged 5 And Above

Full approval from the FDA and CDC is now awaited. Data from the company's clinical trials have said that one-third of the dose that is given to an adult will be used for the children. The use of this vaccine is considered safe and 90% effective for the use of children.

The use of the Pfizer vaccine is already approved in America for adults but it has not been approved for children yet. The tests were conducted at Texas Children's Hospital, where the doctors have said that any side effects are easily treatable and monitored. The doctors are also fully confident in the use of this vaccine for the vaccination of children.
