FanTiger Raises $5.5 mn in Seed Funding

News Synopsis

ArtistFirst Technology Inc, which operates the music NFT marketplace FanTiger, announced a $5.5 million seed round led by Multicoin Capital on Tuesday. Krafton, Pravega Ventures, GAMA, Woodstock Fund, IOSG Ventures, Polygon Studios, and individuals Sandeep Nailwal (Co-founder of Polygon), Gokul Rajaram, Prashant Malik, and Miten Sampat also participated in the round.

The company plans to use the funds raised to expand its team across Product and Technology, expand industry partnerships, and onboard major Artists. Prashan Agarwal, an IIT Kanpur, and ISB Hyderabad alumnus and former CEO of Gaana and PropTiger, and Krishna Singh, an IIT Kanpur Computer Science Engineer, co-founded FanTiger.

FanTiger enables Independent Artists to build fan communities on the platform and allows fans to help shape their career by purchasing music NFTs. These music NFTs give fans the opportunity to be a part of an exclusive community with the Artist and receive special benefits and rewards. Special perks such as early access to exclusive behind-the-scenes content, meet-and-greet opportunities, unreleased music, backstage access to concerts, and so on are being offered to strengthen direct engagement and loyalty with fans, according to a statement.
