News Synopsis

Faasos, a homemade brand from Rebel Foods, said it has reached the milestone of  500 restaurants in 10 countries, making it the largest Indian origin QSR (quick-service restaurant) chain, globally.

Faasos also entered seven new countries in 2021, the UK, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Philippines, and Bangladesh. Motivated by an 80% repeat rate of Indian consumers, the brand also added 55 new online restaurants and 50 new cities in the previous quarter.

Faasos is the flagship brand of Rebel Foods, which operates the most internet restaurants in the world. The brand is known for wrapping surprises in a variety of traditional and fusion flavours.

Faasos was launched in Bangladesh, Malaysia and Singapore in December 2020. In March 2021, the brand's orders increased 7.5-fold in these countries. Launched in Thailand in August 2021, the brand has grown 150% in just one month.

The brand is also successfully accepted in Hong Kong, with the orders growing from 100 to 1700% in just six months. The revenue grew 11x from January 2021 to 2022, led by a strong brand positioning which represents about 70% of Rebel Foods’ portfolio sales across 6 countries in South East Asia.

Faasos is the only organized player in the industry to offer a  variety of products while providing the consistency and reliability of organized QSRs on a large scale. The brand is also considering launching new additions from consumer-first missions such as Party Packs and Faasos Fit, as well as launching carefully selected international bestsellers.
