News Synopsis

Google and Reliance-backed quick commerce player Dunzo launched Dunzo Daily, an instant grocery delivery service in Mumbai. Dunzo Daily is already in operation in Bangalore, Puna and Chennai and will be available in Delhi NCR and Hyderabad later this month.

The company is growing 100% every month, and Dunzo Daily offers its customers a premium selection to quickly deliver high-quality daily necessities such as fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, dairy products, meat, snacks, household items and toiletries.

Dunzo said it has pioneered high-speed trading in hyperlocals since 2016, enabling point-to-point delivery and last-mile logistics for local stores. Dunzo Daily was launched in July 2021. Dunzo Daily's goal is to solve most of our customers' daily necessities and grocery needs through a single platform.

In January of this year, Dunzo raised $240 million in its latest funding round. The investment was led by Reliance Retail Ventures Limited with the participation of existing investors Lightbox, Lightrock, 3L Capital and Alteria Capital. With a $200 million investment, Reliance Retail owned 25.8% on a fully diluted basis, Dunzo's valuation exceeded $ 800 million in this funding round, according to sources.
