Cyient Announces Acquisition of Citec

Cyient today announced that it has signed a final agreement to acquire Citec, an international Plant and Product engineering services company that serves customers in the power, process, oil and gas, and manufacturing industries.

This will be the largest outbound acquisition by an Indian engineering services company and Cyient’s largest acquisition till now. The transactions regarding the acquisition will be completed during the quarter. 

The acquisition strengthens Cyient's position as a leader in the Plant and Product Engineering sector, strengthens its presence in the energy industry with a focus on clean energy, and in Europe in the Nordic countries of Finland, Norway, Sweden,  Germany, and France. 

Combining the Cyient and Citec portfolios makes it one of the largest independent engineering capabilities in the world. This gives customers access to comprehensive services and services such as Plant Engineering, Digital Solutions, Product Engineering, Consulting, and Technical Documentation.
