Crypto Can't be Used in Oil Trade: Putin

News Synopsis

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said in a statement that crypto has value, but it is too early to say anything about it replacing the US Dollar in Oil Trades. He added that Crypto has value and is replacing the mode of payments for trade but upon asking whether it can be used for oil trade he totally denied this possibility. He also talked about the use of other currencies in international trade. His comment on the use of Crypto for international trading has helped to increase the price of some cryptocurrencies.  Bitcoin, which was trading at $57,100 on Thursday afternoon and went up 5%. Ethereum also surged 9% over the last 24 hours to nearly $3,800 and Cardano went up by 3%.
