BYD Delivers Over 450 Electric MPVs To India

Build Your Dreams BYD India, the world's largest electric vehicle manufacturer, has so far delivered more than 450 e6 electric MPVs across the country. BYD India first launched this model in major cities like Delhi, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Chennai and Kochi. It then appointed dealer partners in Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Indore, Jaipur, Pune and Kolkata. Recently, the auto maker has inaugurated its showrooms in five cities- Delhi, Mumbai, Kochi, Vijayawada and Hyderabad.

The BYD e6 electric vehicle Blade is the only e-vehicle in India to be powered by battery and comes with a massive boot space of 580 liters. It is capable of generating electricity even at a speed of 2 kmph. The BYD e6 electric MPV is powered by a 71.7 kWh Blade battery, which makes 94 bhp of power and 180 Nm of peak torque. This car can run up to 520 km on a single charge in city mode. It gets a WLTC combined range of 415 km. The top speed of this car is 130 kmph. On the other hand, if we talk about the price of this luxurious vehicle, then the starting ex-showroom price of BYD e6 Electric MPV in Delhi is Rs 29.15 lakh.

BYD India, a subsidiary of  Warren Buffett-backed China's BYD, one of the world's largest electric vehicle manufacturers, has opened its first passenger vehicle dealership in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.
