News Synopsis

Climate change is a topic of concern and as time is going it is becoming a bigger issue day by day. In order to solve this problem, many countries have claimed that they are planning to achieve zero carbon emission in the future years. The list includes countries like Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, and many more. 

Now Australia has also joined the list of more than 100 countries that planning to have zero-emission. The Prime Minister, Scott Morrison has said that they are planning to cut the emission by 2030 and reach the net-zero by 2050. 

Till now, more than 100 countries have made the claim to have zero-emission, the practice to reduce the presence of greenhouse gases being released into the atmosphere. It leads to an increase in temperature and causes harm to the environment. The Gulf countries like Saudi Arabia and UAE, have claimed that they will reduce the emission but the oil production would still take place and now Australia has also said that the country would not end its massive fossil-fuel sector.
