Aurum to acquire 53% equity in Grexter Housing

News Synopsis

Aurum PropTech, earlier known as Majesco has recently acquired a 53% stake in Grexter Housing Solutions. Aurum Invested 27 crore rupees to receive equity of 53% in the Bangalore- based company. Grexter is a platform that offers co-living space services. The raised amount will be used to scale up and expand its co living space business. It aims to enhance its platform and increase engagement with the users. Ashish Deora who is the founder and CEO of Aurum stated: “Grexter Living is a strategic fit in our Connected Living Segment of Integrated PropTech Ecosystem. With this acquisition, we continue our inorganic growth spree of building products and services in the PropTech value chain. With SaaS products already in our ecosystem, Grexter Living will further add to our Real Estate as a Service (‘RaaS’) business.” There has been a rising trend in the popularity of co-living spaces lately and it is expected to grow in the coming future.
