Audi looks for EVs production feasibility in India

German luxury automotive company is constantly expanding its business worldwide and particularly in India. It is also trying to add more EVs to its current lineup in a bid to offer a diversified collection to choose from to its customers. Other than this the German Carmaker has also pledged to go all-electric by 2030. Audi India head, Mr. Balbir Singh Dhillon has earlier stated that the automobile giant will look for opportunities to set up manufacturing facilities for EVs in India. Audi is currently evaluating the feasibility of manufacturing electric vehicles in India. The company officials have said that they are looking at positive responses to build manufacturing facilities here in India. The company states that the citizens are gradually more and more getting inclined towards electric vehicles in India thus creating viable opportunities for the electric vehicle industry to flourish. Setting up manufacturing facilities would certainly be beneficial to the Indian economy and will generate employment opportunities
