Apple Expects to Start iPhone 13 Production in India

Apple has announced that the company has started trial production of the iPhone 13 in India. The trial production is taking place at the Foxconn Plant near Chennai. It is only planning at producing iPhone13 for now. The company can start production in February 2022. Apple has finally decided to set up the production plant as it has finally managed to secure the supply for its flagship devices, as the tech businesses all around the world are suffering from the global chip shortage.

The iPhone 13 is the most selling device from Apple’s iPhone 13 series and this is the reason why the company decided to produce it first. The Foxconn plant in Chennai is currently engaged in the production of the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12, as both the devices are the most selling devices of the company. 

Other than this, Wistron Plant in Bengaluru is engaged in the production of Apple’s iPhone SE.
