Apple is working on a self-driving electric vehicle that could be launched within a few years, and there are new reports that the iPhone maker is now partnering with a South Korean company to develop an autopilot chip for the car.

According to a report, Apple has partnered with  South Korea's Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) company to develop autopilot technology for automobiles. Apple Car is also expected to feature LED screens all over the vehicle, that will inform the drivers what the self-driving system is doing. It would showcase information like the speed of the car, messages and others. It is expected to have a “C1” chip based on the A12 Bionic processor with in-cabin AI capabilities like eye tracking.
