All-new Emgrand launched by Geely PH

The local distributor of Geely, Sojitz G Auto Philippines Corporation (SGAP), has officially launched the 2022 All-New Emgrand. This is the company’s first and latest offering in the sub compact sedan market. SGAP president & CEO, Yosuke Nishi said: “The Geely Emgrand aims to continue what we have begun from our young brand. We have heard and listened to our customers and this gave us the confidence to bring in a sedan for the Filipino market. Now, we are offering a sedan that will inspire you to elevate your life, be driven, and provide you a more worthy vehicle for your daily mobility needs.” The first generation Geely was launched in 2009. This is the fourth generation Emgrand. Emgrand has been China’s best selling sedan continuously for nine years. It has till now sold over 3.38 million units. The new Emgrand is powered by 1.5 liter engine which produces over 102 bhp of power and 142 Nm of Torque. It features a 8-speed continuous variable transmission.
