Bharti Airtel has quietly removed two popular prepaid recharge plans in India. The Rs 121 and Rs 181 packs provided 30 days of high-speed data along with complimentary access to Airtel Xtreme Play Premium, which includes Netflix, JioHotstar, SonyLIV, and over 25 other OTT streaming platforms.

Customers who only want data benefits will now have to choose from alternative prepaid recharge plans.

Updated Airtel Website and App

Airtel has updated its website and app to reflect the changes in its prepaid recharge offerings. The Rs 121 and Rs 181 packs are no longer available under the recharge options. Both plans offered only data benefits for 30 days and are now discontinued.

Alternative Airtel Data Packs

Customers seeking data can now opt for other recharge plans:

• Rs 100 Plan: Offers 6GB data for 30 days and access to Airtel Xtreme Play, including SonyLIV and 20 other OTT apps.

• Rs 161 Plan: Provides 12GB data for 30 days.

• Rs 195 Plan (“Best Cricket Pack”): 12GB data plus free JioHotstar Mobile subscription for one month, including Airtel Xtreme Play.

• Rs 361 Plan: 50GB data for 30 days. Post data quota, usage is charged at 50 paise per MB.

Airtel Subscriber Base Growth

Recently, Airtel’s wireless subscriber base in India reached 393.7 million users. According to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Airtel holds a 33.59% market share, supported by 1.252 million new wireless subscribers joining the network.
