Gautam Adani, Lawyer Karuna Nundy Among 100 Most Influential People

Billionaire industrialist Gautam Adani and lawyer Karuna Nundy were named among Time magazine's 100 most influential people in 2022.

On this list are US President Joe Biden, President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine, President Vladimir Putin of Russia, President Xi Jinping of China, President Ursula von der Leyen of the European Commission, and the icon of tennis, Rafael Nadal along with Apple CEO Tim Cook, and media mogul Oprah Winfrey.

Gautam Adani's TIME profile states that the Adani Group is currently a national behemoth in the sixth-largest economy in the world. The regional business of Adani includes airports, private ports, solar and thermal power, and consumer goods. 

Karuna Nundy is described not only as a lawyer but also as a public activist who ably and bravely uses her voice both inside and outside of the courtroom to bring the required changes. She stands up for women’s rights and has advocated for the reform of anti-rape laws.
