YouTube TV Application Can be Connected Through Phone App

YouTube has announced an interesting new feature that is very useful for those who have the YouTube app installed on their TV.

According to GSM Arena, until now, using a mobile phone to control this app required a casting process, which was tedious. This worked, but if a user wanted to find the video on his phone and watch it on the TV, users couldn't automatically get the details of the video currently playing on their phone's TV without casting.

With the new features currently available, users can easily connect the YouTube app on their TV to the YouTube app on their iPhone or Android smartphone, eliminating the need for casting. It's also a perfect sync. This means that users can always get information about the video being played on the TV with the YouTube app on their mobile phones.

As with anything related to Google, deployment can take some time. It's unclear if this will be a server-side deployment or if you need to update the YouTube app on your phone, but you should be able to take advantage of this new feature soon. And YouTube is already working on other projects on interactivity in the living room.
