News Synopsis

Users of YouTube Music may now create custom stations based on their favourite artists due to a new Google feature called "Radio Builder." On the YouTube Music homepage in the iOS or Android app, go to the "Your music tuner" section to access this feature, which was just added on Tuesday.

Although YouTube Music always offered algorithmic stations and mixes, the ability to customize them is a great alternative when you want to listen to something specific but don't want to manually make a playlist. Last year, YouTube started testing this functionality.

The feature will be accessible on YouTube Music from anywhere, according to Google representative Paul Pennington, whether you're a free user or a paying subscriber.

You can choose up to 30 artists when establishing your custom station, and you can choose whether you want to hear music just from those artists or from artists who are similar to them.

Also, you may programme the system to play songs that you are already familiar with, songs that are novel to you, or a mix of the two, and add filters to the mix to fine-tune it. You could create a station that plays upbeat new music from artists like Eden, Khalid, and others, or one that plays your favourite meditative deep cuts from Boygenius and the solo albums of the group's members.

You must go to the YouTube Music home page and scroll down until you locate the "Your music tuner" area in order to use this feature. In all nations where YouTube Music is available to both free and premium customers, the upgraded feature is being released on iOS and Android devices.

Although well-known music streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music offer radio capabilities that let users make playlists based on specific songs or artists, they don't give much additional personalization. Compared to its competitors, YouTube Music's revamped radio option offers customers a lot more versatility.
