WhatsApp will end support for iOS 10 and iOS 11

Later this year, WhatsApp, one of the most popular instant messaging apps, will cease to function for iPhones running iOS 10 and 11, as well as the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5C. If you're using WhatsApp on iOS 10 or 11, you'll need to upgrade to iOS 12 to keep utilising it. On iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6s, you can still use WhatsApp, but you'll need to update to the latest version of iOS. If you have an Android phone, you must have OS 4.1 or higher to use WhatsApp.

Unfortunately, WhatsApp will no longer be available for iPhone 5 and 5C due to iOS 12's incompatibility.
