Volkswagen Launched Polo’s Legend Edition

On Monday, German automobile manufacturer, Volkswagen India launched the special edition of one of the most admired and loved hatchbacks, the Polo in India. This special hatchback has been launched to mark the 12 years of the model in the country. The Polo Legend edition is priced at Rs 10.25 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. The Production of Polo in India was started in the year 2009 and it was introduced in the Indian market a year later in 2010. It is also the first locally manufactured model at Volkswagen’s Chakan plant in Pune. Till now, Volkswagen has sold over 3 lakh units of Polo in the country. Volkswagen Passenger Cars India Brand Director Ashish Gupta, after the launch of the special edition of Polo, said: "The Volkswagen Polo has been the brands' much-loved product that deserves a grand celebration. For this, the brand is introducing the celebratory limited "Legend edition" for the enthusiasts who will take pride in owning the last limited units of the iconic Polo." This edition will be available on the GT TSI variant. It is powered by a 1-liter TSI engine which generates 110 PS of power with 175 Nm torque.
