Volkswagen is likely to launch its new car soon

Leading German Automobile manufacturer- Volkswagen is likely to unveil its new sedan on March 8th in India. The said sedan is to be named Virtus and Volkswagen has also released a teaser featuring Virtus. The all-new Virtus GT will lock horns with other C-segment sedans such as  Skoda Slavia, Honda City, Hyundai Verna, and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. Volkswagen Virtus will be powered by a three-cylinder 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, that will churn out 108 bhp of power with 175 Nm torque. This engine will be paired either to a 6-speed manual transmission or 6-speed automatic transmission depending upon your choice. The top of the line Virtus GT variant will feature a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that will generate an enormous 147bhp of power with 250 Nm of torque. However, with this variant, you will not be able to avail manual transmission. The transmission will rather be facilitated by a 7 speed DSG gearbox. The sedan is expected to get premium interiors and large boot space. It will sport LED headlights and taillamps and a digital instrument cluster. It will feature an electric sunroof and will come along with 6 airbags for enhanced security. The price of this car is expected to be between 10 to 15 lakh.
