News Synopsis

China-based smartphone company Vivo is reportedly working in collaboration with American gaming hardware company Razer to develop a new gaming smartphone. The company has already started teasing the smartphone in Malaysia. As per a report by GizChina, Vivo Malaysia has started teasing the launch of a T-series smartphone in the country and has also informed that it is collaborating with Razer for the device. Razer has previously launched its own gaming smartphones, Razer Phone and Razer Phone 2. However, they failed to stand up to the customers' expectations.

After partnering with Vivo, it might be looking for another way to foray into the smartphone sector. To increase its sale, both the companies have also collaborated with the popular game, PUBG mobile. Pubg mobile will be organizing events in Malaysia to promote this smartphone in Malaysia. As per the said report, the upcoming smartphone is the Vivo T1 which was launched in China last year. It is a mid-range device and comes with decent specifications. The smartphone has a 6.67-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
