News Synopsis

Deepak Rajawat, Chief Commercial Officer, Vistara Airline, said that the registration of the airline company Vistara in the super app Tata Neu will take time as both the companies are working on a model that how a passenger's loyalty points can be used on the other.

He further said that our model is yet to be finalized and we are working on how the points offered by Tata group companies will be applicable on Vistara (for buying air tickets). Vistara Airlines is a joint venture of Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines

The Tata Niue app was launched on 7 April this year. On this app, the customers get loyalty points new for every purchase. Tata Group's AirAsia Airline is already enrolled on this app.

However, Tata Group's airlines Vistara, Air India, and Air India Express have not yet joined the Tata Niue app. Air India last week applied to the Competition Commission of India to merge AirAsia India with itself.
