Viratara may Merge with Air India

Airlines company Vistara can soon merge with Air India. Air India has also held talks with Singapore Airlines regarding the merger with Vistara airlines. It is expected that the decision regarding the merger can also be taken by the end of 2023. 

Let us tell you before this, Tata acquired three companies after Air India became a part of the Tata Group. Tata wants to make Air India a better service provider. Therefore the merger cannot be ruled out. After talks between Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, a merger between Vistara and Air India is speculated. 

Significantly, the Tata group, spanning from auto to steel, recently regained ownership of Air India after almost 70 years. It has bought Air India from the government of India in a $2.4 billion equity and debt deal. 

The speculation of a merger between Vistara and Air India was denied by the SIA Chairman Bhaskar Bhatt. He said the Tata group aims to make Air India operational without harming Vistara's operations.
