US to Exempt Tariffs on Solar Panels Imports

US President Joe Biden will release a declaration on Monday permitting the import of solar panels from Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Vietnam into the United States without the risk of tariffs, according to Reuters.

This action arises from fear of the impact of a US Commerce Department's one-month investigation into whether imports of solar panels from four Southeast Asian countries are avoiding tariffs on goods made in China.
