PM Modi says Union Budget reflects India's commitment towards ‘green future’

During the inauguration of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of ICRISAT (International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics), Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi has said that the climate action was given more importance in the Union Budget and that it reflects India’s commitment towards green future.

He also mentioned that the budget encourages India’s commitment towards a green future in every sector. It focused on natural farming and digital agriculture. The prime minister of India also released a commemorative postal stamp on the occasion of ICRISAT's 50th Foundation day. Other than that, the launch of the Climate Change Research Facility on plant protection also took place at the event.
