News Synopsis

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has taken refuge in the leaders of the Group of 7 countries i.e. G-7 countries after the relentless missile attacks by Russia. He held a virtual meeting with all these leaders. In this meeting, he warned about the danger from Russia, as well as demanded an air defense system for security. This virtual meeting of G-7 leaders was held on Tuesday. During this, the Ukrainian President warned all the leaders of the group about the dangerous plans of Russia and called for protection.

Zelensky also demanded an air defense system to shoot down the missile in the air. G-7 countries also assured help to Ukraine. At the same time, warning Russia that Putin should stop attacking, otherwise the result would be bad. In this meeting, Zelensky said that Russia's attacks are increasing day by day. Russia is also targeting residential areas and schools. This action of Russia should be stopped strongly. I am asking you to strengthen the overall effort to help financially with the construction of an air shield for Ukraine. Millions of people would be grateful to the G-7 for such assistance.

Earlier the G7 leaders reaffirmed that there would be "severe consequences" if Russia used chemical, biological, or nuclear weapons in a comprehensive declaration of support for Kyiv that was released after an emergency virtual meeting.
