Elon Musk said on Tuesday, that Twitter Inc is always free for casual users, but it may charge a small amount for commercial and government users, as the billionaire is trying to boost its reach to most AmericansElon Musk said in a tweet, “Twitter will always be free for casual users, but maybe a slight cost for commercial/government users.”

Tesla CEO Musk has proposed some changes to Twitter since last month. He also recently said he wants to improve the platform with new features with open-source algorithms to increase credibility, defeat spam bots, and authenticate everyone.

Even before acquiring Twitter, Elon Musk suggested a few changes in the premium subscription service, Twitter Blue of the platform along with cutting down the price. Earlier this week, at the annual Met Gala in New York, Musk said he wanted to make Twitter transparent about how to promote and downgrade tweets and publish his software for criticism.
