TVS Motor Sales Increased 24 percent in April

TVS Motor Company, while releasing the sales figures for the month of April, said that the sales of two-wheelers have increased by 24% to 2,95,308 units. Domestic two-wheeler sales increased from 1,31,386 units in April 2021 to 1,80,533 units in April 2022. 

The company said in a statement that it had sold a total of 2,38,983 vehicles in the same month last year. Last month, the company's total two-wheeler sales increased by 24 percent to 2,80,022 units as compared to 2,26,193 units in April 2021. 

As we did last year, we are working aggressively with alternative sources and making every effort to improve supply as quickly as possible, the company said in a statement. Our new products have received good customer response and we are hopeful that sales will pick up again after the improvement in semiconductor supply.
