News Synopsis

Popular call identification company, Trucaller in order to enhance business communication is planning to roll out a new feature. Truecaller now aims to introduce a set of features that will enable its users to rate unsolicited annoying calls from insurance companies, credit card companies, loan providers, etc, and respond to them without actually picking them up. Priyam Bose, the Global Head for Go to Market at Truecaller for Business, informed that many businesses keep on blindly calling the customers and such feedback could assist them to optimize their communication in a much more efficient and effective order. The upcoming feature would allow the users to let such businesses and companies know if they are interested in their offering via automated messages like ‘please don’t call me back’ or ‘call me back later’.

This feature will make it much easier for users to let them know whether they are the right target audience for them or not. Currently, features like this exist on Truecaller and phones for peer-to-peer calls. However, the customer service numbers of companies are usually one-way and do not let customers send messages or call back. Truecaller’s latest feature would focus on those customer services only. Secondly, verified businesses will be represented by the green popup on the Truecaller app. Companies and Businesses pay for this verification to let the user know that they are a verified business and acquire their trust.
