On Tuesday, India’s Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that India’s trade pacts with the United Arab Emirates and Australia will prove to be extremely fruitful for the economic growth of the country. While speaking at the stakeholders' outreach program on India-UAE CEPA and India-Australia ECTA, the Union Finance Minister told that across the nation, awareness events about these significant pacts are being organized.

Further, Nirmala Sitharaman stated that the Director-General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has been directed to translate the details of the trade pacts into Tamil and share them with the media and stakeholders. She said that the state of Tamil Nadu has an important association with the leather sector, and the industry has achieved modernization. She requested entrepreneurs to be aware of the details of these agreements and make the best possible use of them.

FM Nirmala Sitharaman commented, "If you want any support in connection with the agreements, feel free to convey it to us. The industry should equip itself to cater to the changing tastes and preferences of consumers post-Covid. Access the available markets that are part of the agreements.”
