Volvo Introduces XC90 Facelift and New EX90

Volvo has made significant updates with the introduction of the facelifted XC90 and the all-new EX90. The updated XC90 now exclusively offers a hybrid option, moving away from traditional diesel and petrol engines. The T8 plug-in hybrid model features a 310 hp turbo petrol engine paired with a 145 hp electric motor, delivering an electric-only range of up to 70 km.

The XC90 is equipped with a 14.7 kWh battery that can be fully charged in approximately three hours using an AC fast charger. Meanwhile, the EX90 is Volvo’s latest electric SUV, boasting a 111 kWh battery that offers a WLTP range of up to 600 km on a single charge. These updates reflect Volvo’s commitment to expanding its hybrid and electric vehicle offerings.

Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680: A Luxurious Electric SUV

The Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV is the latest luxury offering from Mercedes-Benz India. This model features a dual electric motor setup that generates 658 hp and 950 Nm of torque. Priced at ₹2.25 crore (ex-showroom), it comes with 4MATIC all-wheel drive and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 210 km/h.

The EQS 680 is certified by WLTP standards and provides a range of up to 611 km on a single charge. The vehicle supports fast charging, with the battery able to be charged from 10% to 80% in just 31 minutes. A 20-minute charge can add up to 300 km of range, making it a compelling option for those seeking luxury and performance in an electric vehicle.

Jawa 42 FJ: A Sportier Variant for Motorcycle Enthusiasts

Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has introduced the all-new Jawa 42 FJ, starting at ₹1.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This new variant is designed to be sportier and more powerful than the base Jawa 42, with a price increase of ₹26,000.

The Jawa 42 FJ is powered by a 334 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 21.45 bhp and 29.62 Nm of torque. It features a six-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch, positioning it as a strong competitor in the segment against models like the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and TVS Ronin. Bookings for the 42 FJ are now open, with deliveries expected to begin soon.

Tata Curvv ICE: An Affordable and Versatile Option

Tata Motors has launched the Curvv ICE, priced at ₹9.99 lakh for the entry-level petrol variant. The entry-level diesel variant starts at ₹11.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The Curvv ICE features Tata’s new 1.2-litre T-GDi turbo-petrol engine, which delivers 125 PS.

Available with both a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission, the Curvv ICE aims to offer versatility and performance. Deliveries for this model are scheduled to begin on September 12, with introductory pricing valid for bookings made before October 31.

Audi New-Gen Q5 SUV: A Comprehensive Redesign

Audi has launched the third-generation Q5 SUV, featuring a complete redesign both inside and out. The new Q5 is available with three powertrain options: a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 204 hp and 340 Nm of torque; a 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine with 204 hp and 400 Nm of torque; and the SQ5 variant, which includes a 3.0-litre V6 engine producing 367 hp and 550 Nm of torque.

This latest Q5 offers a modern update to Audi’s popular SUV, blending advanced technology with performance enhancements to appeal to a wide range of customers.
