Telegram Launched Several New Features

Telegram Messenger released some new features on Monday to improve the chat experience and user privacy. New tools include custom notification sounds, custom mute times, a new auto-delete menu in profiles, BOT web integration, forwarded message replies, improved message translation on iOS, improved picture-in-picture on Android, and more. 

With the latest update, users can turn any sound into a notification sound, whether it's a short voice file or a voice message. "Users can also create custom notifications through music and memes,"  the company said. The company announced, “With the latest update, users can now mute notifications for a specific duration, like the length of midday nap or extended vacation.”

Tones currently support audio files and voice messages up to 300KB in size and less than 5 seconds. Telegram was used to support the ability to temporarily mute chat for 8 hours or 2 days.

With the new auto-delete feature, users can now automatically delete chats to make conversations more private or less cluttered. With the latest update, users can enable flexible timer settings such as 2 days, 3 weeks, and 4 months for automatic chat deletion.

With the latest update, Telegram adds a whole new dimension to existing bots and gives bot developers the tools to create an infinitely flexible interface using JavaScript. Telegram's in-app translation capabilities for iOS devices have been enhanced to provide higher quality translations from more languages.
