News Synopsis

Tata Steel TV Narendran said that Tata is investing Rs 300 crores in Tinplate. In the meeting held with Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industries, several issues like the construction of a new airport, providing Tata facilities in other areas of the city, benefits to small industries, etc. were discussed. During this, apart from the CEO of Tata Steel, VPCS Chanakya Choudhary and members of various business organizations were present.

Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industries discussed the matter with MD TV Narendran, apart from the new airport, so that the area around the city can also get the benefit from Tata's facilities. In this discussion, Tata Steel CEO cum MD TV Narendran said that there are many problems in Jamshedpur Jamshedpur airport becoming an airport.

Whereas Dhalbhumgarh airport would be the best to build, as it is not far from the city and work is underway to build an airport at Dhalbhumgarh. He further said that there are very few cities, where there is an airport in the heart of the city.

The MD further said that the company is making big investments downstream. With its expansion, Tata Steel is also investing heavily in its subsidiaries and is working towards increasing the production of the Tinplate company.
