Tata Sierra Bookings Open in India, Dealerships Welcome SUV With Music, Dance and Grand Celebrations

Tata Motors has officially opened bookings for the Tata Sierra, and dealerships across India are celebrating the launch in a unique way. From traditional rituals to music and dance, the mid-size SUV is receiving a grand welcome at showrooms as customer interest builds.

Tata Motors, one of India’s leading automobile manufacturers, launched the Tata Sierra as a mid-size SUV towards the end of November. The company has now officially opened bookings for the SUV from December 16. Following the start of reservations, Tata dealerships across several cities are welcoming the Sierra in a truly unique and festive manner.

Customers can book the Tata Sierra both online and through authorised dealerships. With bookings now live, excitement around the SUV has increased significantly.

Tata Sierra Gets a Unique Showroom Welcome

As bookings began, the Tata Sierra started receiving an unusual and celebratory welcome at showrooms. In some locations, dealers organised a procession resembling a wedding ceremony, while in others, traditional prayers were performed. Several dealerships also hosted music and dance performances to mark the occasion. Videos of these celebrations are now going viral on social media.

Tata Sierra Features

The Tata Sierra comes packed with modern and premium features, including LED projector headlamps, connected LED tail-lamps, flush door handles, cornering fog lamps, and a triple-screen dashboard layout. Connectivity features include wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and 5G connectivity.

Safety and convenience highlights include a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring system, Hypr HUD, dual-zone climate control, terrain modes, paddle shifters, and a powered tailgate. The SUV also offers a 12-speaker Dolby Atmos audio system with a Sonic Shaft soundbar, the largest panoramic sunroof in its segment, ventilated and electrically adjustable front seats, rear sunshades, air purifier, and a cooled glove box.

Tata Sierra Engine Options

The Tata Sierra is offered with three 1.5-litre engine options. The petrol variant delivers 160 PS of power and 255 Nm of torque. Another petrol option features a 1.5-litre Revotron engine, producing 106 PS and 145 Nm of torque.

The diesel variant uses a 1.5-litre engine that generates 118 PS of power and 280 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between manual and automatic transmission options across the lineup.

Tata Sierra Price in India

Tata Motors has priced the Tata Sierra competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price starts at ₹11.49 lakh, while the top-end variant is priced at ₹21.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries of the SUV are scheduled to begin from January 15, 2026.
